SCREEN NEW SOUTH WALES - SCREEN NSW

Screen NSW has launched a new direction for its development programs, focusing on early concept development, rather than traditional draft-by-draft funding. The new programs are Early Research & Development, and Advanced Development and Marketing.

Screen NSW supports and encourages people and projects in the digital media, film and television industry in many ways. Some programs assist specifically in project development or provide production investment. Others focus on skills development, fostering industry and audience development or encourage production in regional New South Wales. NORTHERN TERRITORY FILM OFFICE - NTFO

The Northern Territory Film Office (NTFO) supports and develops the screen media industry in the Northern Territory.

The NTFO's key role is to develop and grow the local industry, and support production to the Northern Territory. The NTFO also supports activities that promote a vibrant and innovative screen culture.

The NTFO Screen Grants Program supports the development of the screen industry through a range of program strands.

SCREEN QUEENSLAND - SCREEN QLD

Screen QLD provides support and strategic leadership in the development of an innovative and sustainable screen industry in Queensland. We nurture and invest in people, projects and events within our local industry, and promote Queensland as a world-class production destination.

Through a range of key funding programs and services, Sreen QLD supports Queensland projects and practitioners; fosters industry growth to deliver social, cultural and economic benefits to Queensland; promotes and facilitates the use of Queensland locations, personnel and infrastructure and industry support services in the state; and supports film festivals and industry events where audiences and practitioners can network and develop an appreciation of local and global content. SOUTH AUSTRALIAN FILM CORPORATION - SAFC

The SAFC provides funding to help create and support the screen industries sector, making a significant contribution to South Australia's cultural and economic well being.

The SAFC mission is to build and support the development, production and delivery of quality screen content, thereby growing South Australia's talent and production industry and, enhancing employment opportunities.

Short Film
The SAFC Short Film Fund offers South Australia's producers and directors the opportunity to refine their skills as a way of progressing towards long form feature film, television drama and documentary production. SCREEN TASMANIA

Screen Tasmania is the state government agency responsible for supporting and developing the state's film, television and digital media industries by increasing the amount of independent screen production occurring in Tasmania. Screen Tasmania's suite of programs and special initiatives aim to drive the growth of a sustainable screen industry in Tasmania.

Screen Tasmania offers a range of programs and initiatives designed to:

• support locally-based production and production companies
  
• attract off-shore production support practitioner and project development
  
• raise the profile of the Tasmanian screen industry in the national and international market-place
  
• work to build a strong base of skilled creative and technical practitioners
  
• provide advice, liaison services, financial assistance and incentives
  
• build screen culture in Tasmania

SCREENWEST

ScreenWest supports the funding of short films through a number of programs managed by ScreenWest or in association with the Film and Television Institute (FTI).

With the support of ScreenWest and Lotterywest, the Film and Television Institute (FTI) run the following short film funding programs for Western Australian emerging filmmakers: The One-Off Members Production Fund (OOMPF) of up to $5,000; Link funding of up to $30,000; HyperLink funding of up to $70,000; and $20,000 short documentary and $30,000 short drama funding through the Deadly Yarns Indigenous short film initiative in conjunction with ABC TV. ScreenWest also supports WA short films through funding of up to $2,000 towards the costs of marketing and promoting a project through the Short Film or Self-Funded Low Budget Feature Marketing program. Indigenous filmmakers can also apply for the Indigenous Production Support program INDEX, which provides up to $70,000 funding for a short drama.
